Hey kids! Each week during the 2007-08 basketball season, you have the opportunity to have your game story published in the Norman Transcript.

Give us your take on any OU men's or women's basketball game and submit your story online by Tuesday at noon. After receiving all entries, the OU Athletics Department will choose the Norman Transcript Jr. Reporter of the Week. Winners will be chosen every two weeks.

Each bi-weekly winner will have his or her story published in Wednesday's edition of the Norman Transcript, receive a reporter prize package and becomes eligible for the Norman Transcript Basketball Jr. Reporter of the Year!

All kids Kindergarten through eighth grade are eligible to submit game stories throughout the entire basketball season before the Basketball Jr. Reporter of the Year is selected the week of February 25. OU Athletics will select a Norman Transcript Jr. Reporter of the Year for both men's and women's basketball!

The Norman Transcript Basketball Jr. Reporters of the Year will win a prize package that includes four (4) tickets to the final men's and women's home game and an autographed basketball from Head Coach Jeff Capel and Sherri Coale, respectively.

Norman Transcript Junior Reporter of the Week

Remember, to be eligible to win the Norman Transcript Junior Reporter of the Week, all stories must be submitted no later than Tuesday at noon. Stories are limited to 400 words.

Check out the winning entry for the 2007 Football Jr. Reporter of the Year contest. The winner and his family received four tickets to the Bedlam game, a behind-the-scenes tour of Memorial Stadium and an autographed football from Coach Stoops.
