Spirit Camps
April 06, 2023 | Athletics
Dear Coach, Advisor, and Parents,
Greetings from the Oklahoma Sooners! The University of Oklahoma Cheer and Pom squads are excited to invite you to the 71st year of cheerleading, mascot and dance camps. We hope that the information below will be helpful as you go through the process of selecting a camp for your team/squad.
Our camps are managed by adult university staff members. The University and OU Camp Staff do everything possible to ensure that you and your squad have the most positive, safe, and secure camp experience. We have University personnel and camp managers on site 24 hours a day to provide you with any and all help that you might need. Campus police are available at all times and routinely stop by our camp activities.Ā All camp staff (university and Varsity) have to pass a background check and complete Minors on Campus training before they can work for OU Spirit Camps.

How to choose a camp for your squad/team?
All of the OU cheer camps are open to any squad, regardless of the type of squad you have. We do have some camp dates that have traditionally drawn specific squad types. For instance, most small schools and small squads (8 or less members) attend the June 17-19 NCA camp. New for 2024: Middle school and junior highs have their own session, June 17-19! For competitive teams, the UCA Stunt Camp and the NCA INNOVATIVE Speed camp are popular.
2024 Camp Features
