LUBBOCK, Texas. -- Texas Tech's seniors continued to make big play after big play, but Oklahoma always found an answer and outlasted the Lady Raiders 77-73, spoiling Monday's senior night at United Spirit Arena.

Aaryn Ellenberg scored 25 points and Joanna McFarland added 16 of her 18 in the second half as Oklahoma (21-9, 11-7 Big 12) secured the No. 3 seed for the Big 12 Tournament with a regular-season sweep of Texas Tech (21-9, 11-7).

"There were lot of heroes in the last four minutes," OU head coach Sherri Coale said. "Tech made big plays and we had to score. And every time we had to score, we scored.

"Morgan [Hook] getting to the rim against serious pressure. Then we called Jo's number several times and she answred every single time, and that's big time. Her shots weren't easy. (Ellenberg) down the stretch as well, a couple shots when the play had broken up."

The Sooners shot 56 percent from the field but struggled from 3-point range until the second half. The Lady Raiders made 42 percent of their shots as the two teams battled through 17 lead changes.

The Sooners led 67-62 with 2 1/2 minutes to play when Texas Tech senior Christine Hyde banked in a 3 from the left wing. OU called a timeout to set up a play, but turned over the inbounds to Hyde, who dished to Casey Morris for another 3 and a 70-69 advantage with 76 seconds to play.

Ellenberg then swished her school-record 98th 3-pointer of the year to put the Sooners back on top. Oklahoma sealed the game at the free throw line with McFarland and Morgan Hook connecting on five straight attempts.

Hook had 14 points and six assists.

Nicole Griffin had 10 points and 10 rebounds for her first double-double of the season while also totaling a career-high four assists and season-high six blocks.

Hyde led Texas Tech with 22 points. Chynna Brown scored 21 and Morris had 12 as Texas Tech's seniors accounted for 71 of the team's 73 points.

The Sooners led 29-28 at halftime but the Lady Raiders jumped out of intermission with a 6-0 run. Oklahoma responded with a 10-2 interval, including an Ellenberg 3 that started a 6-for-7 beyond-the-arc performance from the Sooners over the final 16 minutes.

Oklahoma beat Texas Tech for the 16th time in the last 17 contests between the two teams.

The Sooners will play either Oklahoma State or West Virginia in the Big 12 Championship quarterfinals at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, Saturday, March 9, at 8:30 p.m. Central.
