  Team Notes

Oklahoma secured third place in the Big 12 standings with a victory Monday. The Sooners will begin the Big 12 Championship tournament in the quarterfinals Saturday, March 9, at 8:30 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.

The Sooners shot 50 percent or higher from the field for the second consecutive game. OU had not had had consecutive games of 50 percent or higher field goal shooting since three straight games in November 2010 when the Sooners beat Western Illinois (Nov. 19), Fresno State (Nov. 22) and UT-Pan American (Nov. 26).

Oklahoma has won five straight and 16 of the last 17 meetings versus Texas Tech.

Oklahoma is 17-0 when leading at halftime.

Oklahoma is 20-1 when its field goal percentage is higher than its opponent.

The lead changed 17 times, including 16 times in the second half. OU's season high for lead changes was 18 in an 85-79 win at TCU on Jan. 9.

  Player Notes

Junior Guard Aaryn Ellenberg
Ellenberg scored 25 points, her 14th game of 20-plus points this season.

Ellenberg made three 3-pointers to extend her single-season school record for makes to 98. Ellenberg is two shy of passing Erin Higgins (268, 2003-07) for OU's career record for 3-pointers made.

With 25 points, Ellenberg passed Jacquetta Hurley (1983-86) and Caton Hill (2000-04), who were tied with 1,653 career points, for seventh on OU's career scoring list. Ellenberg has scored 1,663 points as a Sooner.

Junior Center Nicole Griffin
Griffin recorded her first double-double of the season with 10 points and a season-high 10 rebounds.

Griffin dished a career-high four assists and blocked a season-high six shots.

Senior Forward Joanna McFarland
McFarland had 18 points, her second highest total of the year, with 16 coming in the second half. McFarland was 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.
