• Oklahoma opened Big 12 play at No. 7/6 Missouri and sustained an 87-49 defeat, its worst loss since 1975.
• Missouri, which entered the game ranked No. 1 in the country in field goal percentage, shot .593 on the night and drained 12 of its 21 3-point attempts (.571).
• The Tigers became just the second team to outrebound OU in 13 games this year. Missouri posted a 38-23 advantage on the glass against a Sooners squad that entered the night with a Big 12-best +10.4 average rebounding margin.
• OU committed just eight turnovers on the night, matching a season low.
• Missouri led 43-25 and scored on 10 of its first 11 possessions of the second half to go ahead 68-36. After an Andrew Fitzgerald jumper, the Tigers used a 12-0 run to go up 80-38.
• The Missouri senior backcourt tandem of Kim English (23) and Marcus Denmon (20) combined for 43 points on 15-for-24 (.625) field goal and 9-for-15 (.600) 3-point shooting.
• Andrew Fitzgerald led OU with 18 points on 8-for-15 (.533) shooting. The rest of the team went 10-for-39 (.256). Fitzgerald has scored in double figures in eight straight games and is averaging 15.4 points during the stretch.
• Steven Pledger added 11 points with the help of 3-for-6 3-point shooting. He has scored in double figures in all 12 of his outings and upped his season 3-point field goal mark to .486.
• Sam Grooms handed out seven assists against two turnovers. He has recorded at least six assists seven times in OU's 13 games.
• Oklahoma plays its Big 12 home opener Saturday against No. 14 Kansas at 1 p.m. CT.
