BYU is coming off a 2-1 overtime loss on Thursday night at No. 2 Oklahoma State. The Cougars entered the game with a four-game unbeaten streak, including wins over Idaho State, Cal State Fullerton and Arizona.
Nine Cougar starters return from the 2010 team that was 16-3-3 overall and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. BYU was also second in the Mountain West Conference with a 5-1-1 record. Now in the West Coast Conference, the Cougars were picked to finish second, tied with Santa Clara and behind Portland, in the 2011 preseason coaches' poll.
The BYU offense is led by four Cougars with two goals scored, including senior forward Jennie Marshall, who also leads the team with three assists. In goal, senior McKinzie Olson has started each game with a 0.83 goals-against average and two shutouts. Olson was a NSCAA All-Region Pacific third team honoree in 2010.

Last Time Out
Three Games in Six Days
Saturday's game against BYU marks the start of three games in six days for the Sooners. OU plays at LSU on Monday and then at New Mexico next Friday.
Next Week
The Sooners hit the road for a pair of games away from Norman, starting with Monday's contest at 7 p.m at LSU. The two last met in 2009, a 4-0 win for the Tigers at home. OU is 0-3-1 all-time against LSU. Following the game in Baton Rouge, OU will conclude the week with a showdown with New Mexico in Albuquerque at 6 p.m. CT. OU leads the all-time series, 2-1, after winning the last meeting in 2003, a 2-1 Sooner victory in Norman.
Mooney's Record Performance
Caitlin Mooney's six points and two assists on Sept. 2 versus Oral Roberts tied a pair of program records. Mooney contributed on each of the Sooners' four goals in the game and recorded her first two-goal game. Only two other Sooners in program history have had six points in a game, but both were recorded on three-goal performances. Whitney Palmer had the hat trick against Tulsa on Aug 30, 2010 and Logan Womack also had a hat trick against Baylor on Sept. 27, 2002. Palmer and Womack rank No. 1 and No. 2 in OU history in scoring, respectively. Mooney was named the Big 12 Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 6 for her efforts, her second career honor.
Kraft Ties OU Assist Record
For the 18th time in program history, and second time this season, a Sooner tied the program record for most assists in a game with two. Kelsey Kraft accomplished the feat on Sept. 11 against Arizona in Tempe. Caitlin Mooney also tied the record with two assists against Oral Roberts and she was the first to have two assists in a game since Dria Hampton did it in 2009. The only other Sooner on the roster to have two assists in a game is Michelle Alexander, also recorded in 2009.
Scoring First
The Sooners have found success early in the season when posting the game's first goal. All four of OU's wins have come when posting the first goal of the game. It was also a key stat in 2010, when OU was 11-2-2 when scoring first.
Spreading the Wealth
The Sooners scored one goal during the three-game losing streak but tallied seven in the two wins on Sept. 2 and Sept. 4 with five different goal scorers. The Sooners have 16 goals in their four wins and one goal in the four losses. Overall, OU has 17 goals scored in 2011 with nine different Sooners finding the back of the net.
