Sept. 12, 2011

Throughout the 2011 season, Soonersports.com will feature a different cross country student-athlete each week to showcase the Sooners off-the-field personalities. This week we will feature junior Molly Ferguson.

1.  What is the most random thing that you have ever done?
In high school all the girls on the cross country team decided to run in dresses.  It was pretty random but hilarious.  We ran all around Oklahoma City in dresses, we probably looked really ridiculous.

2.  What's your best asset?
I find humor in everything.

3.  What is your dream job?
Working for the travel channel.

4.  If you could play any sport other than the one you play now, what would you play?
I would love to play either tennis or basketball.

5.  Name a moment in history that you wish you could have witnessed?
I would like to have witnessed the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

6.  What is your favorite class that you have taken at OU?
I really enjoyed 'Experiencing Music' because it was fun and relaxing after hard classes.

7.  If you had to be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a cat, because I love kitties.

8.  What is your favorite home-cooked meal?
My mom's pesto-chicken spaghetti and my dad's homemade French bread.

9.  Favorite book you have read cover to cover?
I don't have a favorite book, but I just finished “Into Thin Air.” I really enjoyed it because it was an adventure story which is different from a book I would normally choose to read.

10. What was the most defining moment in your life?
Probably going to college and having to learn to live on my own without constant help from my parents.
