NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma, ranked No. 1 in both the AP and Coaches' polls to begin the season, hosts Tulsa in its season opener on Saturday, Sept. 3. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. (CT), with the game televised on FX.

Tulsa has had one of the nation's most prolific offenses in recent years. The Golden Hurricane ranked fifth in total offense and sixth in scoring offense a season ago. Led by senior signal-caller G.J. Kinne, they look to put up big numbers once again in 2011.
