Sooner Fans:

Once again Mother Nature is affecting Sooner Basketball. We will move forward and play tonight's game against Texas, but my utmost concern is for all fans to be safe during this weather.

Tip-off is at 8 p.m. in Lloyd Noble Center and we have announced that admission will be free to all fans. It is "Cheer Like a Champion" night with NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Sam Bradford. We will still distribute a free T-shirt to fans and the first 5,000 will receive a Sam Bradford poster.

If you can safely attend, we do need your support to help us keep our home court momentum. With schools closed today, there is the opportunity to get out of the house or dorm room for a free evening of Big 12 hoops. OU students, help us make an impact in the Big 12 with a loud, vocal crowd in the LNC.

I want to again reiterate the importance of being safe if you are going to travel to the arena tonight. Please bundle up, take plenty of time to travel, drive slowly and if at any time during your travel you feel you cannot continue, please return home. Let others know you are traveling and contact them when you have safely arrived at the LNC.
