• Nebraska snapped a 13-game Big 12 losing streak with a 59-58 win at Oklahoma. OU senior Cade Davis hit a fade-away perimeter jumper with three seconds left that seemingly tied the game at 59-59, but game officials ruled it a 2-point shot. With no stoppage in play and both teams thinking the shot evened the game, Nebraska quickly inbounded and attempted a last-second 3-point shot that was off the mark. After the horn, officials reviewed Davis' jumper and confirmed his foot was on the 3-point line, giving the Huskers the one-point victory.
• OU fell to 12-13 overall, 4-7 in the Big 12 and 11-3 at home. The Huskers improved to 17-8 overall, 5-6 in the league and 1-5 in true road games.
• The loss was just the second for OU in its last 44 home games against unranked AP opponents. The other defeat during the span came last year to Texas Tech, also by one point.
• Nebraska shot 52.3 percent from the field to OU's 43.4 percent. Both teams made 23 field goals and five 3-pointers. The Huskers made eight free throws to OU's seven.
• With 15 points, sophomore forward Andrew Fitzgerald led the Sooners in scoring for the ninth time this year and for the third time in the last four games. He added five rebounds in 31 minutes.
• Davis scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half. He pulled down a team-high eight rebounds and has led OU in the category in seven of his last 10 games.
• Sophomore guard Steven Pledger scored in double figures for the seventh time in eight games with his 11 points (eight after halftime). He went 3-for-3 from the free throw line and has made 24 of his last 25 from the stripe.
• Sophomore guard Carl Blair, who tallied five points, racked up eight assists against just one turnover in his 27 minutes.
• Nebraska committed nine first-half turnovers that led to 12 OU points. In the second half, the Huskers committed just two turnovers that the Sooners failed to convert.
• Oklahoma posted a slim 28-27 rebounding advantage (7-3 on the offensive glass) and outscored Nebraska 10-4 in second-chance points.
• The Sooners play at Kansas State on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT (televised by the Big 12 Network).
