NOTEWORTHY
• Oklahoma holds a 104-82 series lead against Nebraska and is 60-20 in games played in Norman (the Sooners have won the last five matchups at Lloyd Noble Center).  The home team has won the last six regular season meetings.
• The Sooners are 11-2 at home this year with their only losses coming to then-No. 16 Texas A&M and No. 3 Texas.  Oklahoma is 64-14 (.821) at Lloyd Noble Center under fifth-year head coach Jeff Capel.
• OU has won 42 times in its last 43 home games against unranked (AP) opponents.  The only loss during those 43 games came last year to Texas Tech (72-71).
• Starters have accounted for 436 of Oklahoma's 493 points (88 percent) over the last seven games (four wins).  Each of the five starters is averaging between 11 and 15 points during the stretch.
• Starters are also averaging 34.1 minutes per game over the last seven.
• A big key for OU in its wins this year has been its positive assist-to-turnover ratio.  In 12 victories, the Sooners have 189 assists to 167 turnovers.  In its 12 losses, Oklahoma has accumulated 122 assists and 170 turnovers (59 and 79 in Big 12 defeats).
• The Sooners committed more turnovers than their opponent in 10 of their first 17 games.  That trend has reversed itself in recent weeks, however, as OU has totaled fewer turnovers than six of its last seven foes.
• Freshmen and sophomores have accounted for 73 percent of OU's points this year.  The Sooners have one senior in Cade Davis
• Sophomore guard Steven Pledger, who turned in a career-high 38-point performance Jan. 29 at Iowa State, has scored in double figures in 10 of OU's 12 wins and is averaging a team-high 16.2 points in the team's victories (compared to 8.3 in losses).  He is shooting .415 from 3-point range in wins (.295 in defeats).
• Pledger's 38 points at Iowa State are tied for the most by a Big 12 player in conference play this year and the second most by a Big 12 player in any game (Baylor senior guard LaceDarius Dunn scored 43 against Morgan State on Jan. 4).
• After averaging 15.0 points and 6.0 rebounds during OU's four-game winning streak, freshman Cameron Clark averaged 1.0 point and 3.5 boards over the next two outings (both losses).  Clark bounced back with a team-high 16 points and five boards Saturday at Missouri.
• In OU's 12 wins, point guard Carl Blair has totaled 57 assists and 27 turnovers.  In the team's 12 losses, Blair has 38 assists and 45 turnovers.  The sophomore went 16-for-26 (.615) from the free throw line over his first 15 games, but is 40-for-49 (.816) over the last seven outings.

PLAYERS UPDATE
• Sophomore forward Andrew Fitzgerald has scored at least 16 points 10 times this season, including five times in OU's 10 conference games.  He leads the team with his 13.6 points and 5.2 rebounds per game on the year, and ranks fifth in the Big 12 with his .512 season field goal percentage.   His free throw percentage (.733) is up significantly from last year (.638).  Fitzgerald has led the Sooners in scoring in two of the last three games, scoring 18 at Oklahoma State and 16 versus Texas.
• Oklahoma's lone senior, guard Cade Davis ranks second on the squad with his 12.3 points and 4.9 rebounds per game.  After averaging 20.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in consecutive January wins over Texas Tech and Colorado, however, Davis is averaging just 8.6 points and 4.0 boards over the last five outings.  He has been held to single digits in scoring four times during the stretch and is shooting .208 (5-for-24) from 3-point range.  Davis ranks eighth on OU's career 3-point field goals list with 163 and needs four to tie Brent Price for seventh place.
• Sophomore guard Steven Pledger has scored in double figures in six of the last seven games and is averaging a team-high 15.8 in those seven.  Included was a career-high 38-point effort at Iowa State on Jan. 29 in which he registered career highs in field goals (12), 3-point field goals (7) and free throw makes (7).  Pledger scored 17 of OU's final 21 points of the game, including the team's first 10 in overtime.
• Freshman Cameron Clark's top eight scoring totals have all come over the last 16 outings.  The guard is coming off a team-high 16-point game at Missouri in which he was the only Sooner to shoot better than 50 percent (7-for-13).  In OU's wins, he is averaging 13.2 points while shooting .549 from the field and .457 from 3-point range (16-for-35).  In losses, he's averaging 6.5 points while shooting .410 from the field and .222 from deep (4-for-18).
• Sophomore point guard Carl Blair has shown vast improvement from the beginning of the season.  Over the last seven outings, the University of New Orleans transfer is averaging 11.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and a team-high 4.4 assists while shooting .816 from the free throw line (40-for-49).  By comparison, in his first six games this year, Blair averaged 4.0 points, 0.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting .556 from the charity stripe (5-for-9).  He ranks fifth in the Big 12 with his 4.3 assists per contest (third in league games at 4.6) and has led OU in the category in 12 of the last 16 outings.
• OU's first player off the bench, junior forward C.J. Washington is shooting .700 from the field (14-for-20) over the last 12 games.  On the year, Washington leads OU in rebounds per minute (averaging 11.6 per 40 minutes).
• Freshman forward Tyler Neal has provided a spark off the bench the last three games, averaging 8.7 points and a team-high 5.0 rebounds in 16.7 minutes per contest (he averaged 2.0 points and 1.7 rebounds in OU's first seven Big 12 games).  His 40-minute projected averages of 16.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per game rank second on the team this season.

PREVIEWING NEBRASKA
• Tied with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State for eighth place at 4-6 in the Big 12, Nebraska owns a 16-8 overall record.  The Cornhuskers, who are 15-1 at home this year but 0-5 in true road games (all in Big 12 play), snapped a three-game losing streak Saturday with a 65-54 win over Oklahoma State.  They began the year with a 13-2 record (included was an 11-game winning streak, the program's longest in 17 years), but are 3-6 since.  Four of Nebraska's five road losses have come by single digits, three of them (Kansas, Texas Tech and Baylor) by a combined eight points.
• In Big 12 play, Nebraska is shooting .432 from the field (ranks eighth in the Big 12), .303 from 3-point range (ranks 10th) and .765 from the free throw line (ranks third).  Its -0.7 rebounding margin ranks seventh in the league.
