Postgame Notes

• Down by six at halftime, Oklahoma was outshot 53.6 percent to 38.7 percent in the second half and was outscored 47-30 in an 84-61 loss at No. 19 Missouri.
 
• After averaging just 10.5 turnovers the previous four games, the Sooners committed 18 today.  The Tigers outscored OU 24-7 off turnovers.  Entering the day, Missouri's opponents averaged 21.3 turnovers per contest this season at Mizzou Arena.
 
• Missouri racked up 14 offensive rebounds on its 33 missed field goal attempts and scored 12 second-chance points to OU's eight.
 
• The Sooners led 18-11 before enduring a 14-0 run to fall behind by seven.  MU used a 10-0 run later in the first half before settling for a 37-31 halftime lead.
 
• OU freshman Cameron Clark scored 16 points and added five rebounds and two assists.  At 7-for-13, he was the only Sooner who shot better than 50 percent from the field.  Clark had totaled two points over the previous two games at Oklahoma State and versus Texas.
 
• Fellow freshmen Tyler Neal came off the bench to score 14 points (second most of his career) and add four boards and an assist in 18 minutes.  Neal was 4-for-8 from the floor and hit two of his three 3-point tries.
 
• Sophomore guard Steven Pledger scored OU's first six points of the game (two 3-pointers) and finished with 10 points (all in the first half).
 
• Sophomore point guard Carl Blair registered six points, nine rebounds (his most at OU) and four assists.
 
• A 72.5 percent free throw shooting team entering the contest, Missouri went 17-for-20 (.850) at the foul line.  OU hit eight of its 10 free throw attempts.
 
• OU fell to 13-9 against Missouri since the start of the Big 12 Conference.  The Sooners have lost five straight in Columbia.
 
• Oklahoma returns home to host Nebraska on Wednesday at 8 p.m. CT.  The game will be televised on ESPNU.
