FRESNO, Calif. --Morgan Hook's final-second 3-point attempt off Whitney Hand's inbounds pass fell short as the clock expired and sent No. 24 Oklahoma (3-3) its third consecutive loss to Fresno State, 69-66, Thursday at the Save Mart Center.
The Sooners led by 7 with 10 minutes to play but then gave the ball away seven times as part of 21 total turnovers, with 15 coming from its starting trio of guards.
Aaryn Ellenberg tried single-handedly to keep the Sooners in the game in the first half, hitting six 3-pointers and totaling 20 points in 20 minutes.
Fresno State capitalized on mismatches, passing the ball in and around to find an open shooter or lane in which to drive.
Ki-Ki Moore, who sat out last year's matchup due to transfer rules, scored 21 points for the Bulldogs.
