The starters from game one, Steven Okert (Red) and Dillon Overton will again take the mound on Sunday. If necessary, the fifth and final game will be played on Tuesday.
Senior Erik Ross had two hits and scored three runs out of the leadoff spot and junior Dustin Dishman drove in two runs. For the White team, junior Max White had two of the team's six hits. Sophomore Ty Taylor started opposite John and lasted five innings with one earned run allowed out of the five scored on his watch.
Two standout pitching performances from Damien Magnifico (White) and Jonathan Gray (Red) was the story in game two on Wednesday. The contest ended a 3-3 tie after nine innings of action.
Offense was the highlight of game one on Monday which was claimed by the Red team in a 10-5 decision. Smith finished with three hits and three RBI on Monday and got the offense rolling with a two-run triple to the gap in left center in the second inning and capped off the scoring with a RBI double in the seventh inning.
The contests in the best-of-five set are free and open to the public at L. Dale Mitchell Park. The remainder of the schedule for the series is as follows, all dates and times are subject to change:
