All 11 starters return from the 2010 team that posted a seventh-place finish in the Big 12 Conference with at 11-8-1 overall (4-5-1), including Jessica Fuston, their leading scorer this season with five goals. Tech was picked fifth in 2011 preseason Big 12 poll.
The Red Raiders have won the last three meetings in the series against the Sooners and own a 7-6-1 advantage in the all-time series. In 2010, Tech recorded its first win in Norman since 2000, with a 3-1 victory in the Big 12 opener for both teams. OU is 4-3-1 when the series is contested at home.

Sunday's Promotions
The OU Athletics Marketing Office has a number of promotions and giveaways planned for Sunday, including $4 admisssion at the gate for fans that present their OU football ticket vs. Ball State.
On Sunday, children in the eighth grade or younger dressed in their youth team jersey will receive $4 admission. The first 100 OU students will receive free Raising Canes. There will also be post-game autographs for every home game.
Ticket Information
Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens. Season and single-game tickets are available at John Crain Field on the day of the game beginning one hour prior to game time. Coach Nelson Interview
The Sooner soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 2 Oklahoma State on Friday at John Crain Field in the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Bedlam Series. It marked the Big 12 opener for the Sooners and it was played in front of a record crowd of 2,002 fans.
The Cowgirls took the early lead at the 10:15 mark from Kyndall Treadwell and held a 2-0 halftime lead thanks to a goal from Carson Michalowski in the 31st minute. Sarah Brown scored the third and final goal at the 54:03 mark as OSU swept the regular season series.
Next Week
OU travels to Austin, Texas for its first road Big 12 Conference game on Friday, Oct. 7. The 7 p.m. game will be televised on the Longhorn Network. Texas leads the all-time series 8-7-1 despite OU recording a pair of one-goal victories in 2010, including the last meeting in the Big 12 Championship, a 1-0 Sooner victory in the quarterfinals. OU also recorded a 2-1 win in Austin last season in double overtime.
