NOTEWORTHY
• Oklahoma holds a 35-8 series lead against Baylor (17-3 in Norman).  The Sooners won 14 straight in the series at Lloyd Noble Center before last year's 70-63 Baylor victory.  The Bears beat OU in Waco three weeks ago, 74-61 (Jan. 11).
• Starters have accounted for 218 of Oklahoma's 232 points (94 percent) over the last three games (wins over Texas Tech, Colorado and Iowa State).  They have posted 12 double-figure scoring efforts in the three games and each one is averaging at least 11.0 points per outing during the stretch.
• OU's three-game winning streak is its longest in conference play since the Blake Griffin-led 2008-09 Elite Eight team won 11 straight.
• The Sooners are 10-1 at home this year with their only loss coming to then-No. 16 Texas A&M.  Oklahoma is 63-13 (.829) at Lloyd Noble Center under fifth-year head coach Jeff Capel.
• Eight of OU's top nine scorers are in their first or second year of D-I basketball.  Five of the nine are in their first year.
• Freshmen and sophomores have accounted for 71 percent of OU's points this year (963 of 1,353).  The Sooners have one senior in Cade Davis.
• Sophomore guard Steven Pledger, who is coming off a career-high 38-point performance Saturday at Iowa State, has scored in double figures in nine of OU's 11 wins and is averaging a team-high 16.7 points in the team's victories (compared to 7.4 in losses).  He is shooting .432 from 3-point range in wins (.273 in defeats).
• Pledger's 38 points Saturday stand as the most by a Big 12 player in conference play this year and the second most by a Big 12 player in any game (Baylor senior guard LaceDarius Dunn scored 43 against Morgan State on Jan. 4).
• After averaging 5.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in OU's first eight games (he shot .450 from the field), freshman Cameron Clark is averaging 12.4 points and 5.3 boards over the last 12 outings (shooting .500).  Clark is averaging 37.8 minutes per game during the span and has played at least 40 minutes five times (including three times in the last five games).

• Oklahoma has been outrebounded in each of its six Big 12 games (by an average margin of 6.0 per contest).  Forty-nine percent of OU's league foes' rebounds have come on the offensive end of the floor (they are averaging 11.3 offensive boards per game).

• The Sooners led 34-19 before settling for a 38-30 halftime advantage.  ISU took its first lead (54-53) at the 8:23 mark of the second half and later went up by six (67-61 with 3:35 remaining).  OU scored the final six points of regulation (five by Pledger) to force overtime.

• Iowa State entered the game averaging 8.8 treys per game but went just 5-for-24 from long distance (.208).  It missed its first 12 attempts.

MORE ON PLEDGER'S PERFORMANCE AT IOWA STATE
Steven Pledger's 38 points Saturday at Iowa State were the most by a Sooner since Tommy Mason-Griffin also netted 38 last year in a home win over Iowa State.  The 38 points were the most by a Big 12 player in conference action this year and the second most overall.
• Pledger's 12 field goals, seven 3-pointers and seven free throw makes were all career highs.  So were his 44 minutes of playing time.
• Pledger scored 17 of OU's final 21 points of the game, including the first 10 of overtime and 12 of its 15 in the extra session.  He added three rebounds, three assists, a blocked shot and two steals without a turnover on the night.
