NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooner soccer team will host the start of Big 12 play this weekend, including "Kick for a Cure" on Friday night as they welcome Texas Tech to the OU Soccer Complex for a 7 p.m. game. OU also plays host to Baylor on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m.
The OU Athletics Marketing Department has a number of promotions set for both games, including free pink glow sticks for the first 500 fans on Friday to help commemorate "Kick for a Cure." For the second straight year, OU will wear special pink uniforms to help raise awareness for cancer research. Friday is also $.50 hot dog and coke night while supplies last.
Tickets are available ($8 adult and $5 youth) at the OU Athletic Ticket Office on Asp Avenue (Monday through Friday), by phone at 800-456-GoOU, at the gate of the OU Soccer Complex on gameday or by visiting online.
