With the victory, Oklahoma extends its home winning streak to 33 games, a program record. The active streak is the best in the nation. The Sooners have won 53 of their last 54 on Owen Field. The Sooners under head coach Bob Stoops are 69-2 at home.
With the win, Oklahoma improves its series record to 2-0 all-time against Air Force and 4-2 against the service academies (2-1 vs. Army and 0-1 vs. Navy).
Two Sooners made their first career starts today against Air Force. First-time starters were redshirt freshman Gabe Ikard (LG) and Stacy McGee (DT). Ikard joins Tony Jefferson (DB), Kenny Stills (WR) and Tom Wort (LB) as freshmen starters this season.
Jeremy Beal's forced fumble in the third quarter means that OU has forced at least one turnover in 132 of Bob Stoops' 149 games as head coach.
Three Sooners finished with 10 or more tackles Saturday (Travis Lewis - 13, Jamell Fleming - 11 and Jonathan Nelson - 10). The last time that happened was on Nov. 21, 2009, at Texas Tech when four players recorded double-digit tackles.

Ryan Broyles
With a 36-yard catch in the third quarter, Broyles completed his sixth straight 100-yard receiving game, the longest active streak in the nation. He finished Saturday with 116 yards and has accumulated 758 yards during the streak.
The performance against Air Force was Broyles' 10th 100-yard receiving effort. The 10 games moved him into second place ahead of Malcolm Kelly (2005-2007) with nine and behind the record 15 recorded by Mark Clayton (2001-2004).
Broyles finished the game with 10 receptions, marking the fifth time he reached double digits and the second time this season (12 vs. Florida State). For his career, Broyles has 167 receptions and moved past Trent Smith (1999-2002) with 164 catches for fourth place all-time.
Broyles' six catches in the second quarter ties his personal best for a single period, which came against Stanford in the Sun Bowl.
Jamell Fleming
Jamell Fleming recorded a career-high 11 tackles on Saturday. He had 10 earlier this season against Utah State.
Landry Jones
Landry Jones had 26 completions versus Air Force, his third-highest total behind his 30 recorded against Stanford (2009) and Florida State (2010). He has posted 26 completions in four games in his career (Kansas, Kansas State and Nebraska).
Jones had the longest run of his career after breaking a 18-yard run in the third quarter. The play was three yards longer than his previous best against Kansas State in 2009.
Travis Lewis
Travis Lewis had a season-high 13 tackles, marking his first double-digit total of the season and 12th of his career. His 12 games of 10 or more tackles ranks 10th all-time in OU history.
DeMarco Murray
DeMarco Murray rushed for 110 yards, marking the second time he has eclipsed triple digits this season and the 11th time in his career. He is tied for eighth all-time at OU with Steve Davis (1973-75) with 11 100-yard rushing games.
Murray's two rushing touchdowns give him 41 for his career, matching Adrian Peterson (2004-06) for fifth place all-time at OU in the category.
With three touchdowns (two rushing and one receiving) against the Falcons, Murray has scored multiple rushing touchdowns in 16 games and posted three or more scores in seven contests.
With 52 all-purpose touchdowns (41 rushing, nine receiving and two on kick returns), Murray ranks third in program history after passing Quentin Griffin with 51. He trails only Billy Sims (53) and Steve Owens (57).
Murray (312) is the ninth player in school history to score 300 points and just the fourth position player (Steve Owens, Billy Sims and Quentin Griffin). The point total ranks sixth best all-time at OU behind Tim Duncan (313), Billy Sims (318), Tim Lashar (321), R.D. Lashar (328) and Steve Owens (342).
Jimmy Stevens
Jimmy Stevens kicked his 20th career field goal in the second quarter (32 yards). His 21st career field goal in the third quarter moved him into sole possession of 10th place all-time at OU past Tony Dirienzo with 20 (1973-75).
The 41-yard field goal in the third quarter was the second longest of Stevens' career. His career high is a 42-yard FG posted at Texas A&M in 2008.
Tress Way
Tress Way had two punts of 50-plus yards in the second quarter (52 and 57 yards), marking the fifth and sixth time he eclipsed the total this season. He has 28 punts of 50 more yards in his career, sixth best in program history.

Today's game captains were Keil Bartholomew, Ben Cochran, Reggie Rembert and Jonathan Warzeka.
Air Force has now scored in 210 consecutive games, dating back to the 1992 Liberty Bowl (13-0 loss to Mississippi). AFA's streak is the fourth longest active streak in the country and the 15th longest in the history of the NCAA.
Air Force has scored a touchdown on its first drive of the second half twice in three games this season. AFA also scored on its first drive of the second half against Northwestern State.
Oklahoma's touchdown in the third quarter marked the first points Air Force has allowed in the second half this season. In three games, Air Force has allowed just 17 points in six second-half quarters this season.
Today's game marks the first time since Army last season that Air Force has not forced a turnover in the game, a streak of five straight games.

Tim Jefferson's 96 yards rushing today are a season high. His career-high of 99 came against UNLV in 2008. His 39-yard TD run in the third quarter is his longest of the season. His career long run of 45 came against BYU in 2008.
Jefferson's 36- yard punt in the second quarter was the first punt of his career. He had a career-best punt of 42 yards later in the quarter.
Patrick Hennessey's sack in the first quarter was the first of the season and third of his career.
Zach Kauth had two catches on AFA's first drive, the first multiple catch game of his career. Kauth finished the game with career highs of three catches for 45 yards.
Jordan Waiwaiole has had a tackle for loss in every game this season. Waiwaiole's eight tackles today are a career high. His previous best was seven vs. BYU earlier this season.
Brian Lindsay has had a tackle for loss in every game this season. Lindsay had a career high seven tackles in the game. His previous best was five vs. Northwestern State earlier this season.
Brady Amack had a career-high 10 tackles today. His previous high was seven vs. Northwestern State earlier this season.
Jonathan Warzeka set a career high with 48 receiving yards and also tied a career high with three catches
Jared Tew had season highs of 21 carries for 93 rushing yards today. His career high of 173 yards came against Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl last season. His career high attempts of 27 came against Wyoming in 2007.
Anthony Wright tied his career high with seven tackles. He also had seven tackles vs. BYU in 2009.
P.J. Adeji-Paul had a career high five tackles in the game. His previous best was three vs. Minnesota in 2009.
Brandon Hirneise recorded the first catch of his career, a nine-yard reception.
