NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooner soccer team (6-5-1) will battle one more non-conference opponent on Friday, Oct. 8 as Francis Marion invades John Crain Field for the first meeting between the two programs. The game is slated to start at 7 p.m. in Norman.

The OU Athletics Marketing Department has a number of promotions set for Friday's night game in celebration of "International Night." Free salsa dancing lessons will be available prior to the game and the first 100 fans will receive OU soccer scarves. There will also be fireworks after each goal scored by the Sooners and the team will sign autographs following the game.

Tickets are available ($8 adult and $5 youth) at the OU Athletic Ticket Office on Asp Avenue (Monday through Friday), by phone at 800-456-GoOU, at the gate of the OU Soccer Complex on gameday or by visiting online.
