JONES EARNS BIG 12 HONOR
Landry Jones, who spearheaded the Sooners' 47-17 win over Florida State last Saturday, has been named the Big 12 Conference's Offensive
Player of the Week. Jones completed 30-of-40 passes for 380 yards, four touchdowns and no interceptions against the 17th-ranked Seminoles.
The sophomore threw for 321 yards in the first half alone, the second-highest one-half total in school history. Sam Bradford threw for 350 against North Texas in 2007. It marked the second consecutive week that an Oklahoma player won one of the conference's weekly honors. Punter Tress Way was named co-special teams player of the week after the season opener.
GAME TIMES
The kickoff time for the Oklahoma-Cincinnati game on Sept. 25 has been pushed back to a six-day pick, meaning the time won't be announced until Sunday. The game will air on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2. This Saturday's Oklahoma-Air Force game is set for a 2:30 p.m., kickoff on Fox Sports Net. The announcers for that game will be Joel Meyers, Joel Klatt and Jim Knox.
NEXT UP: AIR FORCE
After dispatching then-No. 17 Florida State, 47-17, to extend the nation's longest home win streak (32 games), No. 7 Oklahoma hosts Air Force on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Owen Field. The game will be televised by Fox Sports Net. View complete details:

WAY EARNS WEEKLY HONOR
Oklahoma punter Tress Way has been named Co-Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week. The sophomore was cited for his work against Utah State in last Saturday's season opener, a 31-24 win. He shared the honor with Kansas State kicker Anthony Cantele.
Way launched eight punts for an average of 46.6 yards with three downed inside the 20. He boomed an 85-yarder, which was the longest in Big 12 history and the third-best in OU history. It was the longest punt for the Sooners since 1970.
The Tulsa product also kicked off six times. Utah State's average return was 21.8 yards and their average starting field position was their own 25-yard line.
