The University of Oklahoma men's cross country team remains at No. 2 for the fourth straight week in the Midwest Region in the latest rankings provided Monday by the U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA). The men are also ranked No. 12 in the nation.
Last week, the men raced at the Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wisc. Rob Sorrell led the team to a fifth place finish, as five runners recorded personal best times.
The next competitions for Oklahoma will be Oct. 16 as the men travel to Terre Haute, Ind., for the Pre-Nationals meet and women travel to Fayetteville, Ark., for the Chile Pepper Invitational.
