Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops has announced that a portion of two preseason workouts will be open to the public. Workouts this Thursday, August 13, and next Monday, August 17, will be open. Each practice will be open for approximately the first hour and both are slated to begin at 6 p.m.

The Oklahoma football team's annual Meet the Sooners Day has been set for Friday, August 7, 2009, at the rugby practice fields west of Lloyd Noble Center. The event, which is highlighted by Oklahoma football coaches and players signing autographs, draws thousands of fans to Norman each year.
