Sooner Profile: Whitney Palmer

NORMAN, Okla. -- Through the first two years of her career, Whitney Palmer has shown that she can score goals.

She already ranks among the program's most prolific goal scorers as a junior, currently ranking fourth on Oklahoma's all-time list. Earlier this year, she became just the second player in school history to record a hat trick.

More than scoring goals and setting records, however, Palmer cares about winning. That's something the Sooners have been doing on a much more frequent basis this season.

Oklahoma is definitely a program on the rise, and with Palmer leading the charge, the Sooners hope that winning trend will continue over the next two seasons and beyond.
