Sooners Finish Spring with 6-0 Mark

TULSA, Okla. -- The OU soccer team finished the spring slate with a perfect 6-0 record on Friday after topping Tulsa, 1-0. The win was the Sooners' fourth on the road.

Kelsey Kraft finished off her impressive season by scoring her seventh goal of the spring in the 56th minute, after both teams were held scoreless in the first 45 minutes.

"This team has grown tremendously this spring," said OU Head Coach Nicole Nelson. "I am very proud of the progress we've made. We have learned to win regardless of the conditions. We have played some good opponents this spring and built a foundation to work off for next fall."

The Golden Hurricane outshot the Sooners, 10-7, and held the advantage in corner kicks, 7-4, but Kraft's goal was the difference. Whitney Palmer tallied the assist on the game-winning goal.
