NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma men's tennis team (3-2) looks to continue their winning ways inside the Gregg Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion Monday, Feb. 16, as they take on Pacific University at 12 p.m.
The Sooners are coming off of their biggest win of the season, defeating No. 34 TCU.
"I thought our guys played hard against TCU, but it is time to get ready for Pacific," OU head coach Paul Lockwood said.
The game against TCU marked the first time OU has played an indoor tennis match on the University of Oklahoma's campus.
"I couldn't think of a better way to kickoff the new Wadley Indoor Tennis Pavilion," Lockwood said. "I thought the guys fed off of the energy of the crowd. It was extremely loud down on the court."
The Sooners, No. 72-ranked nationally, are led by junior Andrei Daescu, ranked No. 44 nationally and No. 5 in the ITA Central Region. Two other Sooners are ranked in the ITA top-150. Senior Sergey Avdeyev is No. 77 and Ionut Beleleu checks in at No. 122.
