NORMAN, Okla.-- The Sooner soccer team and the OU Athletics Marketing Department will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night along with a number of other promotions for this Friday's home game with Oregon on Oct. 3.
The contest, the Sooners' final non-conference game of the season, is slated for 7 p.m. and gates will open one hour prior to the start time.

OU will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night with PA announcements in English and Spanish and there will be an appearance prior to the game with former OU running back Jacob Gutierrez.
In addition, the following promos are planned:
- The first 250 fans will receive a Sooner Soccer Stadium cup filled with a soft drink.
- Pregame inflatable games for kids
- Fireworks after each Sooner goal scored
- Halftime youth soccer game
- Autographs with the team following the game
The Ducks are 6-2-1 on the season and the game will mark the second meeting in the all-time series with the Sooners. Oregon won the only other meeting in 1996, 4-0, in Eugene.
