NORMAN, Okla. -- Coming off a bye week, the Sooners face a huge test this Saturday with TCU coming to town.

The Horned Frogs, undefeated and ranked No. 24 in the country, are one of only two teams to defeat OU at Owen Field in the last decade.

Saturday's game between No. 2 Oklahoma and No. 24 TCU kicks off at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by FSN (OKC Ch. 37, Tulsa 27, Lawton 32). Visit Sooner Gameday Central for complete information leading up to the game.

  Senior DT Cory Bennett

On the defensive line stepping up in the absence of DeMarcus Granger:
"We all have to step up. It's one of those things where he went down and somebody like Cordero Moore realized it's his time to step up and fill in where Granger left off. We want to do it for him. Even though he's not out there physically, he's out there on the sideline cheering us on, and we're just going to make sure we keep the rotation good."

On TCU's strong running game:
"We are consistently focused on stopping the run. It's one of those things where we just said, 'These guys like to run, their strong point is there running game so we're going to try and show them why we feel like we have one of the best defenses in the country.'"

  R-Freshman LB Travis Lewis

On the performance of the linebackers so far:
"We've always believed in ourselves. Once we got the final rotation together, we had the time to gel together and everything. We look at it as it's up to us to put the defense where we're supposed to be, make the calls and put everybody in position to make plays."

On TCU:
"They're a great team. They have the No. 1 defense in the country. Their offense is solid, special teams. They're a really, really good team and we're looking forward to the challenge."

  Senior OL Brandon Walker

On the amount of time the offensive line spends in the film room:
"The offensive line probably puts in 10-12 hours a week. We have the most guys to watch. We have to watch the four down-linemen, the three backers and the safeties, so we probably have the most film study."

On the uniqueness of OU's offensive line:
"I think it's something special. We worked all offseason on losing a little bit of weight so we can run the up-tempo no-huddle offense. And we always had the size and the power to run the ball and that's what we've been doing the last two years. We just had to shed a couple pounds and get in better condition to run the spread offense and stay on the field the whole game."

  Senior C Jon Cooper

On how the spread offense has impacted the offensive line:
"Really the only thing we had to change was our tempo and getting up to the line quicker. Instead of going into a huddle, we just go up to the line so we can see the defense and adjust before Sam starts calling the cadence, so it's really been a help for us. We worked all summer on getting the tempo and getting in better shape to be ready for it."

On how the Sooners are approaching the TCU game:
"We just need to go out there, play our game and just be us. A lot of guys weren't here in 2005. I was, but we're a completely different team and can't think about that. We just have to think about this as another game."

  R-Freshman WR Ryan Broyles

On what the offense needs to do to continue their pace:
"We just have to keep preparing day in, day out, week in and week out. We just have to be motivated for each game each week."

On his performance so far this season:
"I'm just playing football. The coaches have prepared me just like they prepare everybody else. We're just trying to make plays and be the best we can be."
