NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma soccer team will host a free youth soccer clinic on Thursday, April 3 at John Crain Field at the OU Soccer Complex.
The first session will be held for recreational players (ages U5-U10) from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and the second session will be for competitive players (ages U10-U14) from 7-8:30 p.m.
OU head coach Nicole Nelson, assistant coaches Kara Lowery and Graeme Abel and the 2008 OU soccer team will be on hand to give special instruction to all participants.
To reserve a spot, individuals need to email Graeme Abel at g.abel@ou.edu with the following information: name, age and gender. Walk-ups are also welcome. Players will need to bring water, a soccer ball and shin guards.
All participants will receive a free Oklahoma Soccer t-shirt and the 2008 Sooners will be available for autographs following each session.
