• Oklahoma (19-10, 7-7 Big 12) held Texas A&M (21-8, 7-7) without a point for the final 12:51 of the first half and the first 3:21 of the second half - a span of 16:12 - to set what is believed to be an NCAA record for the longest time holding an opponent scoreless since the advent of the shot clock in 1986. Entering this season, the record was 13:53 by Utah State vs. Idaho on Feb. 15, 2006 (last 7:49 of the first half and first 6:04 of the second half).
• Texas A&M's 10 points before intermission set a Big 12 record for fewest points in a half of a conference game. It was OU's fewest points allowed in a half since giving up nine to Coppin State in the first half on Dec. 10, 2006.
• Texas A&M's .255 (13-for-51) field goal performance was an OU opponent low for the season. The Aggies shot .569 (33-for-58) from the field Wednesday in a 98-54 home win over Texas Tech.
• The 10 points marked the fewest points by A&M in a half in school history, eclipsing the previous low of 11 set two times.
• OU went on a 24-0 run during the A&M scoreless streak.
• Oklahoma's two 3-point field goals and eight attempts were both season lows.
• Six Sooners scored six points or more, led by Longar Longar's 14 points. Longar also grabbed a game-high-tying eight rebounds.
• Blake Griffin scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half and finished with a game-high-tying eight rebounds.
• Either Blake Griffin (12 times) or Taylor Griffin (six times) has led OU in rebounding in 18 of the last 19 contests.
• With Blake Griffin exiting the game with a right knee injury at the 14:54 mark of the first half, OU proceeded on a 8-0 run over the next 9:58 before Griffin re-entered at the 4:56 mark (the Sooners led 17-10).
• Oklahoma outscored the Aggies 30-14 in the paint.
• Texas A&M recorded one assist to its 18 turnovers.
• OU's .480 field goal percentage was its best since hitting 19-of-38 (.500) shots against Oklahoma State on Jan. 22, 2008.
• Oklahoma improved to 13-3 (5-2 in Big 12 Play) at home this year.
• OU broke a three-game losing streak to Texas A&M and improved to 26-4 all-time against the Aggies. The Sooners have won 13 of the 14 games played in Norman.
• Sophomore forward Beau Gerber scored his first two points of the season.
• The Sooners donned throw-back uniforms from the 1988 OU Final Four team that was honored at halftime of the contest.
