Austin Johnson scored a career-high 20 points with the help of a career-high six 3-pointers (on 11 attempts). Johnson also assisted on Godbold's game-winning trey.
Blake Griffin was held to nine points (his second lowest total in the last 15 games) but pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds.
In his second game back after missing two contests with a broken bone in his leg, senior center Longar Longar came off the bench to supply 10 points on 5-for-8 shooting. He played 26 minutes.

The team's second-leading scorer and rebounder on the year with his 12.9 and 5.8 respective averages, he registered six points and five boards against the Cyclones and 10 points and two boards against the Red Raiders. Longar is shooting .518 from the field on the season and has scored at least nine points in 13 of his last 15 outings. Longar also leads the squad with his 26 blocked shots.

Despite not scoring and grabbing just one rebound in his five minutes against Kansas, Griffin ranks 10th in the Big 12 in scoring (14.6 ppg), fourth in rebounding (8.9 rpg) and fourth in double-doubles (seven). He also leads the league in field goal percentage (.567).
The last OU freshman to average as many points as Griffin for an entire season was Jeff Webster (18.3) in 1990-91 and the last OU frosh to average as many rebounds was Wayman Tisdale (10.3) in 1982-83.
Seeing a major increase in minutes the last few weeks, junior forward Taylor Griffin is averaging 9.8 points and 7.0 rebounds while shooting .788 (26-for-33) from the free throw line over the last nine games. He has scored 280 points this year after scoring 268 last season.
Crocker scored 22 points against Iowa State last Wednesday after totaling 22 the previous three games. He was 10-for-10 from the free throw line versus the Cyclones and tied a career high with nine rebounds.

PREVIEWING BAYLOR
Baylor enters Tuesday's game with a 17-7 overall record and a 5-5 Big 12 mark (tied for fifth place with OU). After getting ranked in the AP poll for the first time since 1969, the Bears have lost five of their last six games, including their last three.
The Bears are coming off an 82-77 home defeat to No. 11 Texas on Saturday, a game in which they never led. Baylor, which trailed by one with 33 seconds left but was outscored 5-1 afterwards, shot .397 from the field and went 8-for-31 from 3-point range (.258).
Baylor has already won more games this year (17) than in any complete season since the 2000-01 campaign (19 victories).
Junior guard Curtis Jerrells is one of four Bears who average double figures in points. He leads the team with his 14.8 points and 3.5 assists per contest. In Big 12 play, Jerrells is averaging 16.3 points and has attempted a team-high 47 free throws. He scored 30 points three games ago at Kansas.

SERIES WITH THE BEARS
Oklahoma owns a 32-5 series advantage against Baylor and has won the last 27 meetings. The Sooners possess a 15-2 series lead in games played in Norman and have won 15 straight there. The last Baylor win against OU came on Dec. 6, 1977, in Norman (75-67). OU is 23-0 against the Bears since the inception of the Big 12 Conference and has won its 11 series home games during the span by an average of 26.9 points.
MORE SERIES NOTES
Oklahoma and Baylor first met during the 1916-17 season in Norman with the Sooners prevailing 42-28. The next meeting didn't occur until the 1945-46 campaign.
OU split its first 10 games against the Bears but has won 27 in a row since.
OU's school record for field goal percentage in a game (.661) came against Baylor in Norman on Feb. 26, 2005 (a 103-60 win).
EARLIER THIS YEAR AGAINST BAYLOR
Twelve days after sustaining a sprained MCL in his left knee (he was expected to be out for nearly four weeks), freshman Blake Griffin registered team highs of 17 points and 15 rebounds while handing out three assists in 22 minutes of action off the bench as Oklahoma posted a 77-71 win at No. 25 Baylor on Jan. 26.
The Sooners led by nine at halftime and extended their advantage to 16 points twice in the second half. Baylor went on a 27-12 run to take its only second-half lead (71-70 with 1:57 left) before Griffin scored on OU's next possession.
Four Sooners in addition to Griffin scored in double figures. Austin Johnson netted 15 points, Longar Longar 13, Tony Crocker 11 and David Godbold 10. Longar also finished with five boards, a career-high four assists and two blocked shots while Godbold contributed eight boards and three assists.
The Sooners held Baylor to .377 field goal shooting, the Bears' second worst performance of the season.
Oklahoma posted a 50-42 rebounding advantage and its 50 boards tied a season high. Six of the seven Sooners who saw action grabbed at least five caroms.
The win was OU's 27th straight against Baylor and 14th straight in Waco.
The crowd of 10,393 was the third largest in Baylor history.
GRIFFIN GETTING TO THE LINE
Freshman forward Blake Griffin has seemed to develop quite a knack for getting to the foul line over his last nine outings. Through OU's first 13 games, Griffin attempted 50 free throws (3.8 per contest) with a single-game high of six. Over the last 10 games, however, Griffin has attempted 99 free throws (9.9 per contest). Included were games of 18 attempts against Mount St. Mary's, 13 versus Kansas State and 15 against Oklahoma State.
MORE ON OU'S FRESHMAN PHENOM
The last Sooner, regardless of class, to average as many rebounds as Blake Griffin is averaging this year (8.9) was then-senior and now-Denver Nugget Eduardo Najera in 1999-2000 (9.2 rpg).
Griffin holds OU's top three scoring performances this season. He netted 27 against Kansas State (Jan. 12), 26 versus Mount St. Mary's (Jan. 7) and 25 at Colorado (last Saturday). He also holds seven of OU's top eight rebounding marks this year.
Griffin is just nine points shy of matching Nate Carter's team high of 360 points last season. Carter played in 31 games as a senior last year while Griffin has played in just 24 this season.
A testament to his overall ability, Griffin has a team-high 18 assists over the past seven games (Austin Johnson is the next closest Sooner with 16 assists over the same period).
DOMINATING THE LONE STAR STATE
OU has had more than its share of success against Big 12 Conference teams from Texas. The Sooners own a 129-50 (.721) all-time record against Baylor (32-5), Texas (45-25), Texas A&M (25-4) and Texas Tech (27-16). Since the inception of the Big 12, OU is 23-0 against Baylor, 16-12 versus Texas, 20-4 against Texas A&M and 18-8 versus Texas Tech for a combined 77-24 record (.762).
ROAD SCHOLAR
Junior Austin Johnson performed considerably better in home games than road contests during his first two years as a Sooner. That trend has reversed itself this season. In OU's eight road games this year, Johnson is averaging 10.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting .500 from 3-point range (21-for-42). In 14 home games, the combo guard is averaging 7.4 points, 2.8 boards and 2.4 assists while shooting .222 from long range (12-for-54). Johnson has made more than one trey at home just three times this season (two each against Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Iowa State), but has made at least two in six of the team's eight road contests (he canned a career-high six at Texas Tech on Saturday).
