Weekend Promotions Set for Soccer

NORMAN, Okla. -- The Sooner soccer team and the OU Athletics Marketing Department have a number of promotions set for this weekend's games against Nebraska (8-7-1, 4-3) and Iowa State on Friday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 26, respectively.

OU has three games remaining on the regular season and each game will be played at home, starting with Friday's contest at 7 p.m. at John Crain Field. Sunday's game will begin at 1 p.m. and the gates for all home games open one hour prior to the start time.

The Sooners have one more weekend of play remaining to qualify for the Big 12 Championship, which invites the top eight teams in the standings to San Antonio on Nov 5-9. OU will host Oklahoma State in the Ford Bedlam Series on Friday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. in the regular season finale.

FRIDAY PROMOS
Friday is OU Student Night and one lucky student will win a Nintendo Wii. The concession stand will have $.50 hot dogs available and the game will be followed by a post-game autograph session with the players and coaches. In addition, the student organization with the largest number of members in attendance will win a $250 MidFirst Bank Gift Card to use towards expenses for their organization

SUNDAY PROMOS
Sunday is OU Faculty/Staff Day and one employee will win a $100 Circle K gift card. In addition, kids eat free on Sunday with a free coupon available at the gate that can be used at the concession stand and the game will be followed by a post-game autograph session with the players and coaches
