Daescu Continues to Roll

Daescu Exits ITA All-American

TULSA, Okla. – University of Oklahoma junior Andrei Daescu was ousted from ITA All-American Invitational Thursday.

Daescu, the lone Sooner remaining in the tournament, lost his main draw match in three sets to Stanford's Bradley Klahn, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.

After taking the first set, Daescu was unable to put away Klahn, who rallied to take the two closing sets.

The Sooners are back in action on Friday, Oct. 17, at the ITA Central Regional Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. From there the Sooners will take nearly three weeks off to prepare for the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Charlottesville, Va., Nov. 6-9.
