• Tonight's loss snapped OU's five-game winning streak, its longest streak under second-year coach Jeff Capel. OU has not won six straight games since the 2004-05 season.

• Despite the loss to Kansas State, OU holds a 101-89 all-time series lead against the Wildcats and 58-24 advantage in Norman. Oklahoma had won eight in a row before K-State's current two-game winning streak.

• Tonight's loss dropped Oklahoma to 8-2 in home games on the season.

• With their 82 points, OU topped the 80-point mark for the eighth time this season after doing so only four times last year.

• Oklahoma is now 7-5 in Big 12 Conference openers and has lost four of its last five such games.

• Kansas State's 84 points were the most scored against OU this year. West Virginia scored 82 in double-overtime while Arkansas' 72 points were the most in regulation prior to today.

• OU forced 16 turnovers and has now forced 13 of its16 opponents into at least as many turnovers as it has committed.

• The Sooners were 28-of-53 (.528) shooting, marking the ninth time this season they have shot 50 percent or better.

• Kansas State was 31-of-55 (.564) from the field, marking the highest opponent shooting percentage during the Capel era. K-State also recorded the highest 3-point shooting percentage of any OU opponent this season (.471) on 8-of-17 shooting.

• Kansas State's 27 personal fouls tied an opponent season high. Previously, both West Virginia and Mount St. Mary's had hit the mark.

• The Wildcats' 18 assists marked an opponent season high, topping TCU's previous high of 16.

• Freshman Blake Griffin's 27 points marked a career high. It was the third straight game that Griffin set a career scoring best. Over the last five games, Griffin is averaging 20.8 points and 12.0 rebounds.

• With his 14 rebounds, Griffin hit double digits on the boards for a sixth time this season. Griffin's eight offensive rebounds were a career high, topping the previous mark of six against Morehead State.

• Griffin attempted 13 free throws, marking the third time in the last four games he recorded double-digit trips to the foul line. He is 25-for-43 from the charity stripe over the last three games.

• For the seventh time in the last eight games, Longar Longar hit double digits with 18 points. Ten of those points came from free throws, a career high for the senior.

• Tony Crocker finished with 13 points, marking the 11th time this season that the sophomore guard has reached double-digits.

• OU announced it will honor Stacey King's No. 33 jersey at halftime of next Saturday's 3 p.m. Texas Tech game. King wore No. 33 and is the Sooners' fifth all-time leading scorer.
