NORMAN, Okla. - Senior setter Julie Chester has guided the Oklahoma volleyball team to an 11-2 record and perfect 4-0 mark in conference play so far this season. In addition, the Sooners are ranked No. 25 in the AVCA Coaches Poll.

Chester has been a significant part of OU's success this season as the Katy, Texas native is having a stellar senior campaign. Chester is currently ranked eighth in the nation in assists per game (13.45) and is second in the challenging Big 12 Conference in assists per game. She recently moved into second all-time in the OU career record book in assists and is leading the team to a .238 hitting percentage.

Chester spent some time with SoonerSports.com on Tuesday afternoon prior to practice to discuss OU's upcoming match against Colorado and OU's success so far this season. No. 25 OU hosts the Buffs at 7 p.m. Wednesday night inside the McCasland Field House.
