OKLAHOMA CITY   SoonerSports.com was in the Oklahoma men's basketball locker room following the Sooners' 68-63 first-round Big 12 Championship victory over Iowa State on Thursday.  
 
Behind 22 points and nine rebounds from Nate Carter and 15 points and five assists from Tony Crocker, ninth-seeded OU extended its season and will face regular season league champion Kansas for the second time in 11 days at 11:30 a.m. CST Friday in Oklahoma City.  The Jayhawks, now ranked No. 2 in the nation, handed the Sooners a 67-65 defeat in Norman on Feb. 26.
