• For the first time this season, Oklahoma opened with the same starting five as its previous contest (Blake Griffin, Tony Crocker, Austin Johnson, Omar Leary and Longar Longar. The Sooners had used six starting lineups in their previous eight games.

• Crocker scored a game-high 22 points on 7-of-10 (.700) shooting. In his last two contests, the sophomore has scored 46 points on 15-of-21 (.714) field goal shooting and 9-of-11 (818).

• In home games this season, Crocker is shooting .694 (25-of-36) from the field and 12-of-16 (.750) from behind the arc.

• Crocker connected on 3-of-4 of his 3-point attempts. He entered tonight's contest ranked second in the conference in 3-point shooting, connecting on 17-of-31 (.548) shots.

• Crocker also dished out a game-high five assists without committing a turnover.

• David Godbold had eight points on 3-of-4 (.750) shooting, all in the first half. The senior guard's eight points in the opening stanza tied his previous game high on the year.

• Austin Johnson scored in double figures for the third straight game. He had 11 points after netting 13 each at USC and TCU.

• The Sooners donned their alternate home gray jersey for the first time this season. According to equipment manager Jon Denio, it was the first time in OU basketball history that the team had worn a uniform that wasn't predominantly crimson or white.

• OU's 30-point halftime lead marked its largest since outscoring Norfolk State 54-20 in last year's opener (Nov. 10, 2006).

• Oklahoma connected on 30-of-55 (.545) field goals, marking the fifth time in nine games the Sooners have shot better than .500 from the field.

• After connecting on only a single 3-point attempt in the first half (1-of-10), Tulsa hit seven shots from long range after intermission (7-of-14).

• Entering tonight's contest as Tulsa's leading scorer at 16.0 ppg, Ben Uzoh finished with a team-high 11 points. He was held scoreless until the 10:59 mark of the second half.

• Tulsa (55 points) became the sixth opponent that Oklahoma has held under 60 points this year. The OU defense is allowing only 56.8 points per contest, the lowest mark since the 1977-78 season.

• The Sooners improved to 27-11 against Tulsa and have won 10 of 14 contests at home.
