TEAM NOTES
The Sooners held Oklahoma Christian scoreless until the 15:11 mark of the first half, while they went on an 18 point run. Oklahoma went on two more runs of 10 or more points, outscoring the Eagles 16-0 from the 12:28 to 7:09 marks in the first half and 17-0 from 13:30 to 7:56 in the second half of play.
Oklahoma outscored Oklahoma Christian on second chance points 12-0 in the first half.
OU had 25 points off turnovers in the first half, while holding Oklahoma Christian to zero. Oklahoma finished the game with 42 points off of turnovers, compared to the Eagles' nine.
Oklahoma was led by Courtney Paris who registered 25 points. Four other Sooners scored in double digits, including freshmen Jenny Vining (13), Danielle Robinson (12), and Carlee Roethlisberger (14). Sophomore Abi Olajuwon also added 12 of her own. All four players came off the bench for OU.
Oklahoma hit the 100 point mark with Lauren Willis' 3-point shot at the 2:38 mark against Henderson State. Tonight the Sooners hit 100 points at the 3:15 mark with a Carolyn Winchester lay up.
Oklahoma's bench outscored Oklahoma Christian's 64-27.
Oklahoma scored 76 points in the paint while holding the Eagles to 13.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
Danielle Robinson
Robinson led the team in assists with six after posting a team-leading four against Henderson State.
Courtney Paris
Paris was 4-for-4 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line, scoring 10 points in the first four minutes of play.
Paris had 25 points and 10 rebounds to record a double-double.
Carlee Roethlisberger
Roethlisberger, who scored 10 points in Thursday's game against Henderson State, had nine points in the first half.
Roethlisberger scored 14 points total, second only to Paris and played 24 minutes, second only to Jenny Vining.
Jenna Plumley
Plumley recorded five first-half assists against OC, compared to four assists total in Thursday's game against Henderson State.
After committing six turnovers to just four assists against Henderson State, Plumley improved her ratio to 5-1 against the Eagles.
Jenny Vining
Vining, who had 12 points against Henderson State, ended the first half with 10.
Vining led the Sooners with 26 minutes played against Oklahoma Christian after playing just 14 against Henderson State.
Lauren Willis
Willis has not yet missed a shot in competition going 1-for-1 from the 3-point line in both exhibition games. Willis also went 3-for-3 from the 3-point line in Oklahoma's intrasquad scrimmage.
Abi Olajuwon
Olajuwon just missed a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds-- second only to Courtney Paris.
