NORMAN, Okla. -- SoonerSports.com brings you weekly updates of Sooners playing in the NFL. With Minnesota's selection of running back Adrian Peterson in 2007, Oklahoma has supplied first-round talent for the past six consecutive drafts.

Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings RB
For the first time this season, Peterson got the bulk of the carries instead of Chester Taylor. But for the first time this season, the defense was able to contain him. With the Vikings passing game almost non-existent, defenses are beginning to focus on Peterson. The Eagles limited him to 70 yards on 20 carries in a 23-16 Philadelphia win on Sunday.

Tommie Harris - Chicago Bears DT
Since Harris has returned to the defensive line, the Chicago defense has improved drastically. They weren't, however, able to contain Jon Kitna and the Detroit wide receivers this week. Harris recorded three tackles and one sack in the Bears' 16-7 loss to the Lions on Sunday.

Brandon Moore - San Francisco LB
Moore recorded just one tackle in the 49ers 31-10 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The loss drops struggling San Fran to 2-5 this season.

Brodney Pool - Cleveland Browns S
Pool has been a big part of Cleveland's success this season and he continued that trend this week against the struggling Rams. He recorded four tackles in a 27-20 win over St. Louis on Sunday. If Pool and the defense can continue playing at the level of Cleveland's high scoring offense, the Browns will be tough to beat.
