NORMAN, Okla. -- The Oklahoma women's soccer team (6-8-3, 2-5-1) will host No. 8 Texas (11-3-3, 4-2-2) for the first "Pack the Park" promotion on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. at the OU Soccer Complex.
Fans are encouraged to wear white to the game. The first 250 fans will receive special OU Soccer "White Noise" T-shirts and the next 250 fans will receive OU Soccer Rally Towels.
Tickets are available this week through the OU Ticket Office online at
SoonerSports.com or by calling 800-456-4668. Seats are $7 for adults and $5 for children. Group rates are also available.
Sunday will also mark "Senior Day" for seven OU seniors as they are recognized after the game. The contest will mark the final home game of the regular season for Shana All, Tenesha Duncan, Audri Habibi, Lauren Harris, Colleen Keester, Allyson Kucera and Jenny Nichols. The group has combined to start 295 games since 2004.

SCOUTING TEXAS
Texas enters this weekend ranked No. 8 in the NSCAA coaches' poll. The Longhorns suffered a 1-0 loss to No. 25 Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Texas is 3-3-1 on the road this season and 1-2-1 at Big 12 venues.
The Longhorns are outscoring their opponents, 32-14, this season. Freshman Niki Arlitt leads Texas with nine goals and 22 points and ranks third with four assists.
Texas returns 13 letterwinners and seven starters from the 2006 team that finished third in the Big 12 with a 18-4-3 overall record and 8-1-1 mark in conference play.
The last meeting in Austin finished in a 3-3 double overtime tie. The series is knotted at 5-5-1 and OU won the last meeting in Norman, 2-0, on Sept. 25, 2005.
