Weather Suspends Action in Michigan

NORMAN, Okla.-- The University of Oklahoma women's golf team is in eighth place (+17) at the Wolverine Invitational in Ann Arbor, Mich, after second-round play was suspended Saturday due to inclement weather. Severe storm warnings interrupted action late in the day, forcing the completion of the round to Sunday morning.
Sophomore Kendall Dye led the team in the first round after shooting a 79 (+4) and is in a tie for 28th place overall (+11). She is 7-over par in through 13 holes of the second round.
Joining Dye in the 28th spot is junior Kelly Jacques. After shooting a 79 (+8) in the first round, Jacques is 3 over in the second round through 15 holes of play.
Senior Jaclyn Stelzer stands in a tie for 31st place after carding a first-round 80 (+9). She is 3 over through 15 holes of the second round. True freshman Andrea Sellmeyer turned in an 82 (+11) in the first round and is currently at 5 over in the second round, tied for 40th. Senior Megan Goodwin is in 47th place at 18 over for the day and Ryanne Elmer, competing individually, is at 19 over for the day in a tie for 50th.
Second-round play will resume Sunday, Oct. 1, at 8 a.m. CDT and will be followed by the third round.
