NORMAN, Okla. -- The OU soccer team opens up exhibition season at home in less than two weeks and SoonerSports.com brings fans the latest photo gallery of the ongoing construction at the OU Soccer Complex.
OU will host TCU in the first game at the newly renovated facility on Tuesday, Aug. 15 at 3 p.m. The construction on the $4.5 million project began in November and is scheduled for completion by the beginning of the 2006 soccer season.
The facility will serve as a multi-use building which is located between John Crain Field at the OU Soccer Complex and the Headington Family Tennis Center at the corner of Chautauqua Avenue and Imhoff Road. The space is comprised of spaces that will be shared by student-athletes, coaches and fans of both soccer and tennis.

OU opens the 2006 season on the road against Washington in Honolulu, Hawai'i on Aug. 26 and its home opener is slated for Friday, Sept. 1 against Michigan at 7:30 p.m.
