NORMAN, Okla. - The Jeff Capel era began in convincing fashion on Friday, Nov. 10, as the Oklahoma men's basketball team trounced visiting Norfolk State 99-36. 
 
The 63-point victory tied as the eighth largest in school history and the Spartans' 36 points marked an all-time low.

From Austin Johnson's five first-half 3-pointers to Keith Clark's long range treys to Chris Walker's alley-oop jam, the Sooners dominated the evening. And SoonerSports.com was with Capel for the duration of his first night on the OU bench.
