Men's Basketball Banquet is Oct. 25

NORMAN, Okla. - The ninth annual Tip In Club Tip Off Banquet featuring the Oklahoma men's basketball team will take place Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. on the Bruce Drake Practice Court at Lloyd Noble Center.

First-year OU head coach Jeff Capel, his staff and players will be on hand to meet fans and talk about the upcoming season, the 100th in the school's storied history.  Banquet attendees will also be able to tour Legacy Court, which was unveiled to the public Tuesday.

Tickets for the banquet are still available by calling the men's basketball office at (405) 325-4732.  The reservation deadline is Monday, Oct. 23.  Cost is $50 for a single ticket, $200 for a half table of four or $400 for a full table of eight.

The Sooners play home exhibition games Oct. 31 against Oklahoma Christian and Nov. 5 versus Central Missouri before opening the regular season Nov. 10 against Norfolk State.
