DALLAS -- The first two days of the 2005 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament, in addition to being available in conference markets via ESPN Regional, will be shown nationally on ESPNU, the new 24-hour college sports network.
The announcement means the entire Big 12 Tournament will be available in the entire country through some form of the ESPN family of networks.
The upcoming tournament, the final one in historic Kemper Arena, will be shown on the first three days throughout Big 12 cities on affiliate partners of ESPN Regional. The four first-round games on March 10 and the four quarterfinal games on March 11 will also be viewable on ESPNU.
For fans outside the Big 12 footprint, the semifinal matchups will also be shown on ESPN2.
The 2005 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament will be played at Kemper Arena from March 10-13. The winner of the tournament captures the league's automatic bid to the 2005 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship.
