AUSTIN, Texas -- The OU men's basketball team won its fifth straight game and wrapped up a Big 12 Tournament first-round bye with a 74-58 win at Texas on Monday in front of a national ESPN television audience. 
 
Oklahoma moved into sole possession of second place in the Big 12 race, a half game behind Kansas and a half game ahead of Oklahoma State.

The win marked OU's first regular season series sweep of Texas since the 2001-02 campaign. Texas had won 44 of its previous 46 games in Austin.

Oklahoma is now 22-6 overall and 11-4 in Big 12 play. It concludes regular season action on Saturday at Texas Tech at 5 p.m. CST.  The game will be televised by ESPN.
