Men's Basketball Shoots 2004-05 Commercials

NORMAN, Okla. -- Men's basketball took center stage Wednesday evening at the Lloyd Noble Center. Head coach Kelvin Sampson and the team worked with Visual Image and the OU Athletics Marketing Department to create a series of commercials to promote the 2004-05 season.

Most of the shots were filmed inside the team's locker room in front of a complex set of lights and cameras.

The humorous commericals feature two fictional characters named Stan and Red who work at the Lloyd Noble Center. Stan, who fashions himself as an OU basketball "insider", is depicted in various settings showing his young co-worker the ropes.

The commercials will air on the big screen during breaks at OU football games and on television via Sooner Network affiliates.
