NORMAN, Okla. -- Turner Broadcasting Sports (TBS/Superstation) has acquired the television rights for Oklahoma's non-conference football game against Houston on Sept. 11. The start time has been set for 6 p.m.
It's the fourth OU television game to be announced for the 2004 season. Earlier, ABC said it would televise the Sept. 4 game vs. Bowling Green (11 a.m.,), the Sept. 18 game vs. Oregon (2:30 p.m.,), and the Oct. 9 game vs. Texas (11 a.m.).
TBS is in its third year of carrying Big 12 Conference schools. This will mark the Sooners' fourth appearance on TBS. The superstation also carried the South Florida and Texas Tech games during the 2002 season and the Colorado game in 2003.
