White Selected for NCAA Television Spots

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma quarterback Jason White spent Tuesday in Houston shooting a television commercial for the NCAA. 
 
Each year, a handful of athletes are selected to appear in the spots that generally relate to the promotion of NCAA sports, sportsmanship, staying in school and other community service angles. 
 
Host Communications of Lexington, Ky., is producing the commericials, which should begin airing this fall.

White shot his commericial on Tuesday along with one being taped with Rice head coach Ken Hatfield.  Other athletes will be flown to Houston later this week to make other commercials.
