Wayne Simien scored 26 points and Keith Langford added 22 to lead Kansas (No. 18 ESPN/USA Today, No. 20 AP) past Oklahoma 79-58 Sunday.
Michael Lee scored all 12 of his points in the second half for the Jayhawks (18-7, 10-4 Big 12), who improved to 7-0 in conference home games. The Sooners (16-9, 6-8) have lost four straight, and five of their last seven.
Oklahoma coach Kelvin Sampson received a costly technical foul in his first game since being reprimanded by the university and the conference on Friday.

Sampson, who criticized the officiating in Wednesday's 94-87 overtime loss at Colorado, earned the technical with just over eight minutes left for protesting the fifth foul on Sooners center Jabahri Brown.
Simien hit both free throws on Sampson's technical, and Lee followed shortly thereafter with a 3-pointer to start a 20-9 run down the stretch for the Jayhawks. Kansas took its biggest lead, 79-55, on Simien's free throws with 2:06 left.
The Jayhawks might have lost freshman center David Padgett for the second time this season. Padgett, who missed two games in January with a stress fracture in his right foot, fell heavily in the lane after getting tangled up with Oklahoma's De'Angelo Alexander midway through the second half.
Padgett was unable to put any weight on the foot and had to be helped to the locker room. He did not return.
Lawrence McKenzie led the Sooners with 15 points, and Jason Detrick added 10 points.
Oklahoma, which trailed by 13 points just over seven minutes into the game, cut the deficit to five at the half and got within 40-38 on Detrick's basket with 17:41 left.
However, Lee answered with a 3-pointer 21 seconds later, starting an 11-0 run for the Jayhawks. They were up 59-49 when Sampson drew his technical.
Kansas hit nine of its first 12 shots and led 20-7 with 12:21 left in the first half when Jeff Graves' dunk capped a 12-0 run. Aaron Miles had one of his 10 assists on the play.
Kansas had a 23-9 edge in assists and outrebounded the Sooners 39-25.
