Lawrence McKenzie scored 18 points, including a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 2:24 left, and No. 25 Oklahoma beat Nebraska 52-50 Sunday after leading by as many as 17 points.

McKenzie matched his career high with five 3-pointers and had 10 rebounds for the Sooners (13-4, 3-3 Big 12), who scored just 16 points in the second half and went a stretch of 10:18 without scoring.

Brian Conklin gave Nebraska a 45-44 lead with 3:28 left when he capped a 15-0 run by the Cornhuskers (11-6, 1-5).

McKenzie's free throw with 3:08 left stopped the Sooners' drought. After Nebraska's Andrew Drevo missed underneath, McKenzie made his final 3 to put Oklahoma ahead for good.

Jabahri Brown had 15 points for the Sooners.

Jake Muhleisen scored 11 points for the Huskers and Conklin had 10.

Oklahoma has won three straight since seeing its roster drop to nine players following Kevin Bookout's announcement that he will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery this week. Four of the nine players are freshmen and one is a sophomore.

The Sooners, who came into the game 10th in the Big 12 and 255th nationally in 3-point shooting (32.0 percent), were 7-of-14 from long range in the first half in taking a 36-21 lead.

McKenzie hit three 3s over Nebraska's zone defense in the first 4 minutes and scored 14 points in the first half.

Oklahoma's first two-point field goal, De'Angelo Alexander's putback with 12:11 left in the half, gave the Sooners a double-digit lead.

Nebraska missed 13 of its first 15 shots and went a stretch of 9:48 without a field goal.

The Sooners went 12 possessions without a field goal from the 13:26 mark until McKenzie's tie-breaking 3 with 2:34 left.
